Stanford....playing 3 conference teams in that time, including one top 10, all with a new QB. I'm not saying they will lose any of these but they could lose two and that will hurt them. The trouble with picking a school to rise is that teams above it have to lose....and that doesn't happen much in non-conference play. A single loss by a team shouldn't hurt it too badly.

I thought about Florida St too. But their schedule at the front end is pretty soft for much of a downward spiral, and too much carnage would have to happen to move upward much.

Gotta be Georgia. With 2 SEC games in September they either move into the top 5 or drop out of the top 20.
